On Wednesday, November 7, United Way Campaign Chair Greg Boyce announced that their 2012 fundraising campaign raised a record total of $72,019,850 million. Exceeding their $72 million goal, these funds will enable the United Way to invest more than $1 million each week in the community to 170-plus agencies, including the St. Louis Arc.
In 2012, the United Way’s allocation of $269,000 has helped the Arc provide children’s therapies, recreation programs, vocational training, prevention, family education and more. We congratulate the United Way for reaching this milestone and thank them for their ongoing support.
