Golf Tournament Raises $250,000 for Programs and Services
Sunny weather, a beautiful course and a great cause brought out more than 200 golfers on May 19, 2008 for the St. Louis Arc’s 18th Annual Golf Tournament. Golfers from 45 different companies teed up at The Country Club of St. Albans, thanks to the dedication of tournament co-chairmen, Irl Engelhardt, Ron Kruszewski, and Michael Neidorff. A group of 40 dedicated volunteers helped ensure the event’s success--raising more than $250,000 for Arc's programs!
After a great day of golf, players, volunteers and other Arc supporters gathered for dinner and awards. First place on the St. Albans Lewis & Clark Course went to a team from Nestle Purina PetCare, while a Centene Corporation team took first on the club’s Tavern Creek Course. St. Louis Arc program participant Peter Moisio drew the winner of the tournament’s grand prize golfer’s getaway for two to Scotland, which went to lucky golfer Chip Webb of AmerenUE.

The Lewis & Clark Course’s first place team of Steve Spinks, Gary Kukla, Steve Luthy and Chris Renz from Nestle Purina PetCare.
First place on the Tavern Creek Course went to a Centene Corporation team of Jim Reh, Mike Chivell, Michael Neidorff and Steven Jansen.
