Volunteer!
“I always feel guilty about calling it volunteering because it’s such a fun, positive experience…it’s an uplifting experience to say the least.”
—Matt Schiepeter, a long-time volunteer in the St. Louis Arc’s Leisure Services programs.
Volunteers are vital to the programs and services of the St. Louis Arc. Volunteers are the backbone of our organization—lending support in a variety of ways to the people and families we serve. From playing games with preschoolers to helping a young woman practice her golf swing… coaching a sports team to its first win of the season… or working to make an event run smoothly… there are so many ways you can help! Your contribution can make a valuable difference in someone’s life.
Volunteer opportunities exist for individuals and groups. You can help on a one-time basis for our special events or on a regular basis working with people and families in our programs and activities. To learn more, please check our volunteer opportunities or contact our coordinator of volunteers and community outreach at 314-817-2234.
