How to Get Services as an ARCH participant family
- You must be the primary caregiver for a person with a diagnosed developmental disability who lives in his or her natural home. Documentation of diagnosis will be required.
- The person’s natural home must be located in St. Louis County or St. Charles County in Missouri. If you reside in St. Charles County, you must also be registered with the St. Louis Regional Center
.
- An intake coordinator will meet with the individual and/or family to explain the program, eligibility, relevant tax issues and the application forms. When the application file is completed and eligibility is confirmed, the program director will determine the number of hours of service that will be allotted to the participant for the current fiscal year. Thereafter, families are surveyed annually to determine their allocation.
- A letter of confirmation will be mailed to the participant family indicating the number of hours that are allotted for the fiscal year. It is the family’s responsibility to apply for reimbursement within the specified reimbursement period. Service hours will not be carried over from year to year.
- If you would like to apply for services through the ARCH program, please contact Kay Phillips, ARCH intake coordinator, or call 314-569-0247.
