St. Louis Arc Family Organization
Providing critically needed education and support to caregivers of people with developmental disabilities
The St. Louis Arc Family Organization offers an opportunity to families of people with developmental disabilities to build their informal support networks by meeting with other families for informative meetings and seminars. Together, we work to help families gain the kind of knowledge and advocacy skills that will result in positive change for their family member and for the community-at-large.
Please plan to attend our next Semi-Annual Meeting "Caring for the Caregiver" on Thursday, May 8, 2008 from 6:30 to 8:30 pm at the Lodge at Des Peres, 1050 Des Peres Road, Des Peres, MO 63131. Click here for meeting program and reservation information.
The 2007-2008 Family Organization Workshop Series addresses topics such as advocating for your school-age child, futures planning, legislative advocacy, long-term care options, employment services, social skills & safety awareness, and benefits training.
