St. Louis Arc: Supporting People with Developmental Disabilities and Their Families Since 1950

St. Louis Arc Prevention Project Speakers

When you have the audience, we’ll provide the resources.

Whenever there’s an opportunity to reach young women with valuable information about the danger of drinking alcohol during pregnancy, we want to be there! Our informative and motivational speakers will customize a program to fit your needs. Our services include informative and interactive programs and event displays ideal for student fairs, school cafeterias, classrooms and more!

“I really enjoyed your talk, especially how you made it come to life with real stories!”
-a high school student
“The material was informative and handouts are helpful. The presenter was well-informed, interesting and entertaining. Probably the best training I’ve been to in the past 3 years!”
-a social worker
“Very informative—it needs to be presented regularly in all treatment centers for women across the state as well as for medical doctors and educators!”
-a health professional

If you have contact with young women or other groups that we might be able to help—especially if you think they may be at risk for alcohol consumption during pregnancy—please contact Julia Schaffner, prevention educator, at 314-817-2247.
