Sports
Attention Families! A Tae Kwon Do Program will be offered to youth and adults, ages 7 and older, in Spring 2009. Enjoy this great activity with family & friends of all ages! Or sign up for St. Louis Arc’s seasonal basketball, bowling, and softball leagues, soccer and golf sessions for adults.
Social Activities and More
Check out our monthly dances and cultural events for adults; our community-based walking clubs & book clubs for youth and adults; and Focus on ME, a manners and etiquette class for young adults aged 16 to 25.
Community Involvement
Our award-winning Neighborhood Experiences Project supports youth and adults who want to volunteer or sample work opportunities in their local community and the Individualized Supports program helps people explore community leisure opportunities.

This unique weekend leisure experience is designed for children and adults with developmental disability and challenging behaviors.

Some people join our seasonal sports teams and leagues to build skills, stay in shape and have fun with friends—old and new!
Others may want support to access leisure and recreation through their local community centers, parks and recreation departments, YMCAs, and other venues.
Social activities programs help many people to enjoy the wide variety of cultural and sporting events available in the St. Louis metro area.
Community Involvement programming supports youth and adults as they actively contribute to their local communities. Each year, participants give several thousand volunteer hours to service organizations—helping to make St. Louis a better place for everyone!
