  Campaign Debuts in September 2009

The St. Louis Arc’s Prevention Project wants expectant mothers to Go the Whole 9: nine months of pregnancy without a single drop of alcohol. There is no safe amount, no type of safe alcohol and no safe time during pregnancy to drink. Learn more about our Go the Whole 9 campaign and get the facts, myths and misconceptions about drinking during pregnancy at our campaign website, http://www.thewhole9.org

 Get a Speaker!

Our Prevention Project brings informative and motivational speakers to your group to talk about FAS prevention at no cost (when in the St. Louis region). Ideal for high school and college classes, civic organizations, teen groups, parents, educators, health professionals and others, our presentations are always customized for your specific audience.

FAS Consultation and Referral

The children and families affected by prenatal alcohol exposure may need lifetime support. The St. Louis Arc offers a full-range of services for people with developmental disabilities, including those with FAS-related disabilities.

Media Resources

As knowledgeable authorities on the subject of prenatal alcohol exposure, we are always prepared to offer expert commentary and timely, accurate information to radio, television and newspaper reporters. For media requests regarding prevention, please contact Erika Ebsworth-Goold, director of communications and public relations, or call 314-817-2232.
