Arc Raises $200,000 at Annual Golf Tournament
The St. Louis Arc’s 19th Annual Golf Tournament was a sweet, Scottish-themed success, raising more than $200,000 for Arc’s programs and services! The fund-raiser was held Monday, May 18 at the Country Club of St. Albans.
More than 170 golfers from 40 different companies enjoyed picture-perfect weather and played 18 holes of golf at St. Albans thanks to the dedication of tournament co-chairmen, Irl Engelhardt, Ron Kruszewski, and Michael Neidorff. A group of 40 dedicated volunteers also helped ensure the event’s success.
After a great day of golf, players, volunteers and other Arc supporters gathered for dinner and awards. First place on the St. Albans Tavern Creek Course went to returning champs from Nestle Purina PetCare, while a Stifel Nicolaus team took first by a scorecard playoff on the club’s Lewis & Clark Course. St. Louis Arc program participant Diane Reitenbach drew the winner of the tournament’s grand prize golfer’s getaway for two to Scotland, which went to lucky golfer John Schwartze of Peabody Energy.
