Arc Raises $240,000 at 20th Annual Golf Tournament

Monday, May 24, 2010 was a great day to hit the links and raise money for a fantastic cause!  More than 200 golfers, including local and national business leaders, braved the heat and took part in the St. Louis Arc's 20th annual Golf tournament, held at the Country Club of St. Albans.  They raised $240,000, which will help fund programs for people with developmental disabilities and their families.  The Scottish-themed golf tournament is the Arc's biggest fundraiser.

We had four fantastic event co-chairmen:

  • Irl Engelhardt, Chairman of Patriot Coal
  • Michael Neidorff, Chairman and CEO of Centene Corporation
  • Ron Kruszewski, Chairman and CEO of Stifel Nicolaus
  • Joe Imbs, Regional Chairman and St. Louis Market President of US Bank

Major event sponsors included Centene Corporation, Patriot Coal, the Engelhardt Family Foundation, Stifel Nicolaus, US Bank and Peadbody Energy.

The highlight of the event was a golfer's dream trip for two to Scotland.  The winner was Paul Gantner with Purcell & Amen, LLC.
