CONNECT is registering for its spring class series!

This series allows individuals to gain knowledge and develop life skills through a variety of classes and learning opportunities. Whether your goal is to communicate clearer, learn to cook, or just get moving, CONNECT is the place for you!

How to Make Conversation
Thursdays, March 9 – April 13, 6:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
We all want to express ourselves and be heard. Join us for this 6-week course exploring and practicing your communication skills using a wide range of communications from answering the phone and making small talk to sharing how you feel with someone close to you.
Cost: $75

Creative Movement
Tuesdays, March 21 – April 25, 6:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
Give yourself the gift of dance! This class will teach simple movements that build capacity for balance and spatial orientation, social and life skills, physical health and wellness, self-esteem, self-awareness and self-determination. All are welcome, from the experienced to those who have never taken a dance class.
Cost: $75

Cooking Matters
Tuesdays, April 25 – June 13, 1:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Learn basic cooking techniques and new recipes through demonstrations taught by a trained cooking and nutrition professional from University of Missouri Extension. Participants will receive free groceries at the end of each class to make the dish at home.
Cost: FREE!
