The Leisure Services team has been hard at work continuing to provide services to keep participants and families socially involved and engaged via virtual supports. As we celebrate Parks and Recreation Month this year, we are experiencing many things a little differently. Now, more than ever, we see the need to get out and play!
Staying active can relax your mind and reduce stress. Activities like biking, fishing, hiking, kayaking, or camping can be wonderful ways to enjoy the great outdoors while social distancing. When going outside may not be possible, you can stay active indoors by trying yoga online or participating in a virtual dance break.
We encourage everyone to stay connected with their friends and Arc staff through our many virtual activities. The fall 2020 Leisure Times brochure will be available soon for individuals to sign-up for fall programs.
Stay safe, well, and engaged. Happy Parks and Recreation Month!
