teen volunteering during the summer

It is difficult to think about summer with snow covering the ground, but for families with teens and young adults planning early for summer programming is important. Summer programs for individuals with disabilities have limited spaces and they fill up quickly.

We invite family members to attend the Arc’s first workshop of 2020 – Summer Recreation Programs. This workshop, led by Susan Fleming, Executive Director of the Recreation Council of Greater St. Louis, will explore the options for summer volunteer and work programs for young adults ages 13-21. The Arc Leisure Services staff will also be in attendance to answer questions about Teens in Motion and Neighborhood Experiences.

To attend this workshop please RSVP to Brianne Smith, Information Coordinator of Family Support, at 314-817-2216.
