Registration is now open for summer leisure programs!
While it may be snowing outside, summer is just around the corner. The leisure team at the St. Louis Arc has planned plenty of fun and active programs for people of all ages and abilities. A few highlights for the summer season:
Children’s Music Groups
Children’s music groups utilize music therapy techniques to support children in developing abilities that are strengthened and transferred to other areas of their lives. Children have fun and learn to be successful in a small group setting. We are offering four different sessions throughout the summer.
Get moving with the St. Louis Arc and join us for walks at local parks. Walking is a great way to exercise, stay healthy, socialize, and support your community. We will accommodate the novice, as well as the fast-paced walker. Family members and friends are encouraged to register as well. Although this is a walking club, members are welcome to bring alternative transport methods if they’d like to. For example, children are welcome to ride their scooters around the park if they have one. If they don’t, they could always try and find the best stunt scooters to allow them to join in with this club! However, bikes are also welcome. Whatever method you choose, it will still count as exercise.
Arc United Softball
If you’re interested in playing in community leagues, having fun, meeting new friends, and improving your softball skills, then this is just the team for you! Arc United consists of athletes of all abilities and no experience is necessary.
Don’t forget to register before the April 1 deadline.
