Kick off the new year by staying active and engaged – virtually! As the pandemic continues and we see less daylight and colder temperatures, it is important to find ways to stay connected to others. The St. Louis Arc offers fun, unique virtual classes and programs for people with disabilities through our Leisure department. There are limited openings still available for several programs which are beginning soon.

Yoga and Meditation Class

This class is designed to teach participants yoga poses and the art of staying in the present. Benefits of the class include increased flexibility and muscle strength, weight reduction, improved respiration, energy, and vitality. This class will be led by a certified Yoga Instructor. Session 1: Tuesdays, January 12 – February 16 from 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Session 2: Tuesdays, March 2 – April 6 from 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Location: Instructions will be sent prior to the start of the program
Program Fee: $60.00

Dance Club

Grab your dancing shoes and join us for virtual dancing with a live DJ spinning current hits, old favorites, and any requests. Virtually connect with friends and meet new people from the safety of your own home. For more information, contact Clinton Hall at 314-817-2293.
Dates: 3rd Saturday of month, Saturdays, January 16 – August 21 from 7:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.

Program Fee: $35.00

Adult Music Class

Music classes are designed to provide a fun and supportive outlet for expressing yourself. To maximize the benefits of music for people of all abilities, we will provide smaller group sizes and more hands-on support. For more information, contact Clinton Hall or 314-817-2293.
Date: Mondays, January 11 – April 5 from 6:30 p.m. – 7:15 p.m. or Thursdays, January 14 – April 1 from 10:00 a.m. – 10:45 a.m.
