Tuesday, August 7 is election day! Are you registered to vote?
At the St. Louis Arc we know advocacy comes in many forms. One of the easiest ways to advocate for yourself or a loved one with a disability is to exercise your right to vote. The first step as an Arc Advocate is to ensure you are ready to vote on August 7, 2018.
The last day to register to vote for the August election is July 11, 2018. Check your voter registration status and find out more information on upcoming elections. If you have recently moved, it is important to update your voter registration or you will be unable to cast your vote.
On Wednesday, July 25 the St. Louis Arc will be providing two sessions for individuals with disabilities to make sure their vote counts. Stop by to hear how to overcome barriers to voting including voter ID, stairs, and transportation, additionally learn more about the issues on the August ballot.
