Volunteer Opportunities


Thank you for your interest in volunteering at the St. Louis Arc! The mission of the St. Louis Arc is to empower people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families to lead better lives by providing a lifetime of high-quality services, family support, and advocacy. Volunteers contribute greatly to our mission and support individuals with disabilities and their families achieve their goals.

In Fiscal Year 2015, the St. Louis Arc benefited from the service of 1,231 volunteers, who contributed 15,664 hours. According to the Independent Sector, the Arc’s volunteer program contributed a total monetary value of $333,643.20.

St. Louis Arc volunteers are great examples of our core values: Respect, Collaboration, and Empowerment. With their support, we provide opportunities for people of all abilities to be fully accepted and valued for their unique gifts and contributions.
