The St. Louis Arc is excited to offer programs both in-person and virtually for the spring and summer session! Leisure Services has worked hard to continuously offer opportunities for people with and without disabilities to stay connected and engaged. As area COVID-19 restrictions begin to ease, the Arc is offering options for participants to safely engage in activities in a way they most feel comfortable.
When programs moved virtually in 2020, many individuals found a new way to engage in social and recreation programs from the comfort of their homes. While some individuals are excited to meet again in-person, we understand that in-person is not the best option for everyone. For the spring and summer session, Arc Leisure programs will offer a choice of in-person or virtual sessions for Music, The Artist in You, and Cooking.
As the weather begins to warm up and the sun shines longer, engaging with others outside becomes easier. Leisure’s Golf, Softball, Walking Club, and Arc United Softball programs all offer fantastic opportunities to get outside and play.
The Arc will continue to follow the CDC COVID-19 safety precautions. The number of people registered for programs will be limited for some in-person programs, so please remember to register early. For in-person and indoor bowling and dance programs, participants will need full COVID-19 vaccination or proof of negative test 48 hours prior to attending each week.
